How to set up a proxy in GenLogin for every profile
Updated:
To set up a proxy in GenLogin, open the profile editor, pick HTTP in the proxy section, fill in the four parts of your Vinaproxy.com proxy line and run the built-in check before saving. Below: the fingerprint settings that should follow the proxy, and the problems GenLogin users hit most.
Why GenLogin profiles need separate IPs
GenLogin is one of the antidetect browsers Vietnamese MMO users reach for when running many Facebook, TikTok or Shopee accounts from one computer. Each profile gets its own fingerprint, cookies and storage, so sites see what looks like separate devices.
Fingerprints solve only half the problem. Without a proxy, all those 'devices' leave through your router with one public IP, and a shared IP is among the first signals platforms use to group accounts. A static IP per GenLogin profile closes that gap.
GenLogin proxy setup: what goes in each field
Your proxy arrives as one line under Orders in the Vinaproxy.com dashboard, for example 203.0.113.10:8080:user123:pass456. GenLogin wants it split into separate boxes; your build may label them slightly differently.
| GenLogin field | Value from the example | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Proxy type | HTTP | Leave SOCKS options alone |
| Host | 203.0.113.10 | No http:// prefix |
| Port | 8080 | Numbers only |
| Username | user123 | Case sensitive |
| Password | pass456 | Watch for trailing spaces |
Make the fingerprint agree with the proxy country
A common GenLogin mistake is a profile whose IP says Japan while its timezone and browser language still say Vietnam. Sites can compare those values, and a mismatch looks odd. If the profile editor offers an option to fill timezone, geolocation or language from the proxy IP, keep it enabled; otherwise set them by hand to the country of the IP.
Also check the WebRTC option in the fingerprint section. WebRTC can expose your real IP even behind a proxy, so pick the mode that replaces or masks it instead of disabling WebRTC outright, which can look unusual too.
Keeping order across dozens of profiles
- Put the proxy country or the IP's last digits in the profile name to spot a swapped proxy fast.
- Keep a sheet mapping each profile to its proxy line and expiry date.
- Pick the IP country to suit the account: a Vietnam proxy for local Shopee or Facebook accounts, a United States proxy for US-facing ones.
- When an order nears expiry, renew from the dashboard; you can renew only the proxies whose profiles you still run.
GenLogin proxy not connecting? Check these first
- Check fails with 407: GenLogin reached the proxy but the login was refused. Re-copy username and password, and make sure they did not land in each other's boxes.
- Check spins, then times out: the host or port is off, the type is not HTTP, or the order has expired. Look at the expiry in Orders.
- Check passes, profile still shows your home IP: the profile was not saved, or you launched a different profile with a similar name.
- Location is not the one you bought: test the bare line in the proxy checker; if it is wrong there too, open a ticket. Wrong location and dead proxies fall under the refund policy.
Step by step
- 1
Copy a line from Orders
In the Vinaproxy.com dashboard, open Orders and copy one proxy line for the profile you are about to set up.
- 2
Start a new GenLogin profile
Click the button to create a profile, or open an existing one with the edit action.
- 3
Find the proxy section
Scroll to or click the Proxy part of the profile editor.
- 4
Pick HTTP and fill the fields
Set the type to HTTP, then enter host, port, username and password. If your version accepts a pasted
ip:port:user:passstring, that works too. - 5
Run the proxy check
Press the check or test button. GenLogin should return the proxy IP and a country matching your order.
- 6
Align timezone and language
In the fingerprint settings, let timezone and language follow the proxy IP, or set them by hand.
- 7
Save and confirm in the browser
Save, launch the profile and open My IP. The page should show the proxy address, not your own connection.
Frequently asked questions
Should I pick HTTP or SOCKS5 in GenLogin?
Pick HTTP. Vinaproxy.com proxies are HTTP/HTTPS with username and password login, and HTTPS sites load through them normally. Selecting SOCKS5 makes the check fail.
How many GenLogin profiles can share one proxy?
For accounts you want kept apart, one. Profiles on the same IP look connected to the platform. Larger orders cost less per IP, see pricing.
Which proxy works best for Vietnamese Facebook or Shopee accounts in GenLogin?
An IP in the account's own country. For local accounts that means a Vietnam proxy, private IPv4 or static ISP.
Can I move a proxy from one GenLogin profile to another?
Yes, clear it from the first profile and enter the same values in the second. The IP stays fixed until the order ends, so avoid leaving it active on both.
Does a proxy stop GenLogin accounts from being banned?
No proxy can promise that. A dedicated IP lowers the chance of accounts being linked by IP, but platforms also judge behavior, so warm up new accounts gradually.
