Each Hidemyacc profile imitates a separate device. To make it look like a separate user too, it needs a separate internet address. That is the job of the proxy, and it should be decided when you create the profile, not added weeks later.

Take one line from Orders, for example 203.0.113.10:8080:user123:pass456. The four parts are separated by colons. In Hidemyacc they go into the fields below; depending on version and interface language the labels can read a little differently.

IPv4 or IPv6 for Hidemyacc profiles?

Private IPv4 works on every website, so it is the safe choice for accounts that matter. IPv6 proxies cost less per address, which is attractive when you run a very large number of profiles, but a site that has no IPv6 support simply will not load through them.

Moving accounts you already own onto a proxy

• Pick a proxy in the same country the account usually logs in from; a Vietnamese account should get a Vietnam proxy.
• Expect a verification prompt on the first login from the new IP. Complete it calmly instead of retrying from other IPs.
• Once an account has settled on its IP, keep it there. Changing proxies every few days undoes the benefit.
• Keep timezone and language in the profile aligned with the proxy country.

Fixing common Hidemyacc proxy errors

• The check reports 407: credentials are not accepted. Paste username and password again, and make sure nothing was typed into the wrong box.
• Nothing loads, or the check gives up: look at host, port and type (must be HTTP), then confirm the order is still active in Orders.
• The IP check shows your real address: the proxy was not saved to that profile. Edit the profile, confirm the fields and save.
• Problem persists: send a ticket from the dashboard with the proxy line and a screenshot of the error. Support answers around the clock.

   Pick a proxy line

   Log in to Vinaproxy.com, open Orders and copy a proxy that has not been assigned to another profile.

   Create or edit a Hidemyacc profile

   Start a new profile, or open an existing profile's settings.

   Open the proxy settings

   Go to the proxy part of the profile settings and set the type to HTTP.

   Fill in the four values

   Enter IP, port, username and password, or paste the full line if your version offers a paste field.

   Run the check

   Use the proxy check button. You should see the proxy IP with the country you ordered.

   Save and test in the profile

   Save, open the profile and load My IP to confirm the proxy address and country.
