Multilogin proxy setup for teams and single users
Updated:
To set up a proxy in Multilogin, open the profile you are creating or editing, switch the proxy setting to your own (custom) proxy, choose HTTP, fill in host, port, username and password from your Vinaproxy.com order and test it. Every teammate who launches that profile then connects through the same dedicated IP.
Multilogin for teams that run accounts at scale
Multilogin is one of the longest-established antidetect browsers and is often chosen by agencies and larger operations: affiliate teams, e-commerce companies and social media managers who need shared workspaces, member roles and profiles that many people can open.
With many hands on the same profiles, the risk is inconsistency. Someone launches a profile from a different office, or a new member swaps the proxy for a test and forgets to put it back. Treat the proxy as a fixed property of each profile, decided once and changed only on purpose.
Multilogin proxy setup: where the settings live
In the profile creation screen, the proxy is one of the main settings alongside the browser type and operating system. Multilogin can sell you its own proxy traffic in the same place, so pick the custom or own-proxy option first. Wording differs between Multilogin versions, but the fields are the same idea.

Mimic, Stealthfox and the proxy
Multilogin offers a Chromium-based core (Mimic) and a Firefox-based core (Stealthfox). The proxy setup is identical for both, and the same Vinaproxy.com line works with either. Choose the core based on what the target site expects, not on the proxy.
What does depend on the proxy is the rest of the fingerprint. Let timezone, geolocation and language be derived from the proxy IP, and set WebRTC to a mode that shows the proxy address rather than your local one. A profile on a Singapore proxy with a Hanoi timezone is an easy inconsistency to avoid.
Proxy hygiene in a shared workspace
- Agree on one owner for proxy changes; other members only launch profiles.
- Use folders or tags by client and country so a US profile never ends up with a Hong Kong IP by accident.
- If you launch profiles through automation scripts, the proxy saved in the profile normally applies there as well, so there is no need to pass it separately.
- Track expiry dates and renew only the proxies whose profiles are still in use.
Multilogin proxy errors and what they mean
- Authentication failed or 407: wrong username or password. Copy the pair from Orders again rather than retyping.
- Proxy test hangs or reports no connection: wrong host or port, a type other than HTTP, or an expired order.
- Profile launches but sites show the wrong country: verify the line on the proxy checker; if it is wrong there as well, raise a ticket.
- Works for you but not for a teammate: they may be opening a copy of the profile without the proxy. Check that everyone uses the same profile.
Step by step
- 1
Copy the proxy
From Orders in the Vinaproxy.com dashboard, copy the line meant for this profile.
- 2
Create or edit a profile
In Multilogin, start a new profile or open the settings of an existing one.
- 3
Switch to your own proxy
In the proxy setting, choose the custom or own-proxy option and set the type to HTTP.
- 4
Enter the credentials
Fill in host, port, username and password from the line.
- 5
Test before saving
Run the proxy test. The result should show the proxy IP and the ordered country.
- 6
Save, launch and confirm
Save the profile, launch it and open My IP to make sure the proxy is in use.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need Multilogin's own proxies, or can I bring my own?
You can bring your own. Choose the custom proxy option and enter your Vinaproxy.com HTTP proxy; it gives the profile a dedicated static IP.
Does the same proxy work in Mimic and Stealthfox profiles?
Yes, the setup is the same for both cores. Just avoid giving one IP to two profiles that should look like different people.
Which protocol should I pick in Multilogin?
HTTP. Vinaproxy.com proxies use HTTP/HTTPS with username and password, and HTTPS sites load normally. SOCKS5 is not supported.
How should a large team split proxies across Multilogin profiles?
One IP per profile, grouped by client and country. Bigger orders lower the price per IP, see pricing, and the reseller program suits agencies that resell access.
Will the IP change if a teammate opens the profile from another country?
No. The profile connects through the saved proxy wherever it is opened, so the site sees the same static IP.
Dedicated IPs for your Multilogin workspace
Private IPv4 in seven countries and static ISP proxies in the US and Vietnam, with unlimited bandwidth.
