GoLogin proxy setup: use your own proxy in every profile
Updated:
To set up a proxy in GoLogin, edit the browser profile, open its proxy tab, choose your own proxy with type HTTP, paste in the details from your Vinaproxy.com order and press the check button. Because GoLogin profiles live in the cloud, that one setting follows the profile to every computer and teammate that opens it.
Why GoLogin users care about the proxy
GoLogin runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, and stores profiles in your account rather than on one PC. Freelancers like it because they can start a profile on a laptop at home and continue on an office machine; small agencies like it because profiles can be shared with colleagues.
That portability is only safe if the IP travels with the profile. If a profile used a Vietnam IP yesterday and today appears from a teammate's home connection in another city, the account has jumped location overnight. A static proxy saved inside the profile keeps the address the same wherever it is opened.
GoLogin proxy setup: where the fields are
Open the profile settings and look for a tab or section called Proxy. GoLogin offers its own proxies in the same place, so make sure you pick the option for your own proxy before typing. Names below match recent versions in general; expect small wording differences between releases.
- Connection type: HTTP
- Host and port:
203.0.113.10and8080from the line203.0.113.10:8080:user123:pass456 - Login and password:
user123andpass456 - Some versions take the full line in one paste box and split it for you
Desktop app, web launch and cloud launch
In the desktop app, the browser runs on your computer and connects to the proxy from there. With cloud launch, the browser runs on GoLogin's servers and the proxy connection starts there. Our proxies log in with username and password rather than an allowed-IP list, so both modes work as is.
What does not work well is the same profile opened twice at the same moment, for example on your laptop and by a teammate. Close it in one place before opening it elsewhere, so the account sees one session on one IP.
Sharing GoLogin profiles with a team
- Assign the proxy before you share the profile, so colleagues never launch it on their own connection.
- Treat the proxy line as part of the profile: if you replace the IP, every teammate gets the new one automatically.
- For a team working one market, a block of IPs from the same country keeps things consistent, for example the United States or Singapore.
- Make one person responsible for renewals so shared profiles don't drop offline.
GoLogin proxy check failed: what it usually means
- Message about authentication or code 407: the login pair is wrong. Copy it again from Orders; a password with a stray space is the classic cause.
- Check never finishes: GoLogin cannot reach the host and port. Confirm the type is HTTP and that the order has not expired.
- Country differs from your order: run the line in the proxy checker. If the checker also shows the wrong place, contact support through a ticket.
- Profile opens with the wrong timezone: the fingerprint was saved before the proxy. Re-apply the timezone and location from the proxy IP and save again.

Choose your own proxy
In the Proxy tab, select the option for your own proxy, not GoLogin's built-in ones, and set the type to HTTP.

Press the check button and wait for an IP and country that match your order.
- 6
Let the fingerprint follow the IP
Confirm that timezone, geolocation and language are set from the proxy IP, then save the profile.

Frequently asked questions
Should I use GoLogin's built-in proxies or my own?
For accounts you plan to keep, use your own dedicated proxy. It gives the profile an IP that only you use, which stays the same for the whole rental period.
Does the proxy work when I open the GoLogin profile on another computer?
Yes. The proxy is stored in the profile, so it applies on any device that opens it. Just avoid having the profile open on two devices at once.
Which proxy type should I select in GoLogin?
Select HTTP. Vinaproxy.com proxies are HTTP/HTTPS with username and password, and secure sites load through them as usual. SOCKS5 will not connect.
Can my team share one proxy across many GoLogin profiles?
Only if those profiles are meant to look like the same person. Separate accounts should each have their own IP; buying more IPs lowers the cost per IP on the pricing page.
Does GoLogin cloud launch need a different proxy?
No. The same HTTP proxy with username and password works whether the browser runs on your computer or on GoLogin's servers.
